FireGen NG SEF 7 Module Usage

Requirements:
- SEF 7.0 firewall
- Firewall logs saved in text format using the logfile.yyyymmdd naming convention. Split logs are accepted. Example:

logfile.20060126
logfile.20060126-1

Downloads:
- FgNgSEF7.dll - Version 0.07 - Updated March 4, 2006

Configuring the log profile:
- Start the FireGen NG user interface
- Switch to the Log profiles tab
- Click Add new
- In the Properties section, change the profile name from Profile1 to a name relevant to the specific firewall (i.e. SEF7)
- As Firewall type select SEF/Raptor 7.x
- Select the logs location (the folder where the logs are stored, in txt format, using the naming convention specified above)
- Click on the -> button to save the profile (the profile name should move from the Unsaved section to the Saved one as shown below:

- Switch to On Demand
- Select the reporting interval
- Save the settings by clicking the Apply button
- Press Analyze! to run the analysis
